Wow. Can't even blame Clams for that one. This is squarely on you, bubba. Get to work!beantownbubba wrote:The early returns show that purchases of legal weed in MA are below projections and behind those of other states that have gone legal. How embarrassing.
Heavy regulation and taxes keep the black market in business. What a surprise.beantownbubba wrote:The early returns show that purchases of legal weed in MA are below projections and behind those of other states that have gone legal. How embarrassing.
A lot of it is demographics, and a not insignificant portion of it is your inadequate dispensary system. It should change before long. I'm following all of this pretty closely now for business purposes and it's interesting as hell. The folks in New York trying to keep people from growing plants at all are pieces of work though.beantownbubba wrote:The early returns show that purchases of legal weed in MA are below projections and behind those of other states that have gone legal. Oh shit... I should be dead.MarySmith wrote:Cannabis depresses the immune system through its anti-inflammatory action and makes the person consuming it more susceptible and vulnerable to viral and bacterial infections. Scientific studies (Google “cannabis suppresses the immune system”) have proven this. https://www.marijuanabreak.com/full-spectrum-cbd-oil
Cannabis has benefits, but it’s not a cure all, its immune suppressing properties also makes people more at risk of developing auto-immune disorders such as inflammatory bowel disease. Again studies done on mice have proven this. Finally, I myself am proof that it does in fact suppress the immune system. After vaping for a whole week all day long, I developed a cold sore that lasted 2 weeks, followed by one of the worse colds I ever contracted.
Perhaps some moderation could be in order.MarySmith wrote:After vaping for a whole week all day long,

It was happy hour so I got a 4g eighth of some really nice Sticky Icky Glue (Indica dominant hybrid) for $20. My stamp card was full so I got a free gram of moon rocks plus a top shelf joint to go. That's 5g of weed and a joint for $20.
I was really impressed by the improvement in the recreational aspect of the CA dispensaries when I was there in March. Last year I had thought CO had their shit much more together but they're both good now. It might be a few years before I can enjoy any of it again but the progress has been amazing.bovine knievel wrote:Amen, lajakes.lajakesdad wrote:I don't know phungi, California ain't too shabby. I shop the local dispensaries “demo days”. You can get some buy one get one deals. It’s too damn convenient.
Black market is dying a slow death up here in NorCal.
