Technically speaking his court case was in Montgomery County PA (where I live) not Philly. But yeah. From a legal viewpoint letting him go was the right decision. He cut a deal with the prosecutor 10 or 20 years ago bc the prosecutor didn't think there was enough evidence to convict. The deal was that Cosby would testify in the civil cases against him in exchange for criminal immunity. So he testified years ago and then the current prosecutor (a neighbor of mine btw) used that testimony against him. I was actually surprised they let the trial go fwd in the first place. But still, what a fucking piece of shit. Also thanks for bringing this thread back.

this is the correct answer.
Should it bother me as much as it does that I used the wrong punctuation mark over 2 years ago?tinnitus photography wrote: ↑Wed Jul 07, 2021 11:20 amthis is the correct answer.
esp true for the NHL, where the majority of the teams are in the US and the majority of the players weren't born there.
If you are going to grant punctuation immunity, please consider proper contextual grammar.
I was tempted to say but no, not really.phungi wrote: ↑Thu Jul 22, 2021 10:50 amGiven there aren't a lot of all-night Cheesesteak places, this one checks more than one "Only in Philly" box:

Clams took me to this place when I was in Philly a few years ago.Howlinwolf wrote: ↑Fri Jul 23, 2021 10:44 amhttps://nypost.com/2021/07/23/shooting- ... ans-argue/

Yo, Clams - have you ever been to this spot?Clams wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 10:42 amYes!!RolanK wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 10:35 amClams took me to this place when I was in Philly a few years ago.Howlinwolf wrote: ↑Fri Jul 23, 2021 10:44 amhttps://nypost.com/2021/07/23/shooting- ... ans-argue/

There’s a character in a book I’m currently reading named Dr. Huxtable.
No - I can't keep up with all the new breweries. Seems like every neighborhood has one or two. I'm sure it's good - they all are.cortez the killer wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 1:54 pm

Quick little getaway before the season. Flying into Philly Monday and staying in Center City overnight. Driving down to Dewey Beach in Delaware for a couple of days before flying back to CT Thursday morning.Clams wrote: ↑Sun Aug 01, 2021 9:25 amNo - I can't keep up with all the new breweries. What brings you to Philly cortez?
Sounds great. You should check in with emandrisdad, he goes to Dewey all the time and he knows the beer scene there as good as anyone.cortez the killer wrote: ↑Sun Aug 01, 2021 11:52 amQuick little getaway before the season. Nice. Some guy on the GBV board has lived there for 15+ years and gave me a very thorough lay of the land.Clams wrote: ↑Sun Aug 01, 2021 7:02 pmSounds great. Enjoy your visit, and be sure to get one from Pat's and one from Geno's (across the street) for the mini-cheesesteak-crawl...cortez the killer wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 1:54 pmYeah, boy! Will be hitting that place up Monday (or Tuesday). Yo, Clams - have you ever been to this spot?

I have it on good authority that the fried onions (e.g., a cheesesteak "wit") help propel one towards their desired or necessary destination... also, when consumed after dusk and digested during sleep with a full gullet of beer, they create a distinct aroma...chuckrh wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 10:49 amThen crawl to a bathroom!phungi wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 9:44 amEnjoy your visit, and be sure to get one from Pat's and one from Geno's (across the street) for the mini-cheesesteak-crawl...cortez the killer wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 1:54 pmYeah, boy! I've heard that (formerly) Chink's is much better than either Pat's or Geno's.phungi wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 9:44 amEnjoy your visit, and be sure to get one from Pat's and one from Geno's (across the street) for the mini-cheesesteak-crawl...cortez the killer wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 1:54 pmYeah, boy! I 100% agree… Pat’s and Geno’s aren’t even top-10 on my list, but they are part of the “visit Philly” experienceFlea wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 6:38 pmI've heard that (formerly) Chink's is much better than either Pat's or Geno's.phungi wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 9:44 amEnjoy your visit, and be sure to get one from Pat's and one from Geno's (across the street) for the mini-cheesesteak-crawl...cortez the killer wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 1:54 pmYeah, boy!
