pretty sure it's just the NC-produced bottles that are the problem, don't think it applies to the stuff made here in CASwamp wrote:SN recall yall

Re: What's Everyone Drinking?
growler of Ras Trent my brought home from SF/Bay Area (she brought home two growlers from Cellarmaker, 3 crowlers from Fieldwork, and several bottles from Rare Barrel)
Ras Trent
Pale Ale / 5.2 ABV / 33 IBU
A super sessionable pale ale that’s perfect for killing the thirst after a long shift at Cold Stone Creamery. So have a pint; maybe fill your growler so you can enjoy it at home while watching Cool Runnings. Hops: Citra, Galaxy, XJA436
damn tasty!!!

Re: What's Everyone Drinking?
Outdoor
Outdoor was designed with two things in mind; to be a refreshing and excessively crushable Pilsner to be enjoyed in the outdoors, as well as having assertive aromas of fresh cut grass and freshly trimmed buds. Up front this Pilsner delivers a classic and crisp aroma that quickly transitions into a well manicured hop aroma that is equal parts grassy and floral as it is dank and sticky. Restrained on bitterness with a lightly grainy and cracker-like malt profile, Outdoor's hop character is complimentary without being brash or overwhelming as beers containing the moniker of "hoppy." Easy drinking while remaining a labyrinth of flavor, Outdoor Pilsner works as hard as possible at being a pick-up truck full of classic Pilsner character perfectly balanced alongside new school American hops; creating our Fieldwork take on our favorite historical style.

Toppling Goliath has been doing the DDH thing with Psuedo Sue for awhile, and I love the results.

Tasty brew from Manton, CA. They have a tasting room in my town of Red Bluff. Outside of the Manton tasting room, Red Bluff is the only place you can get it. If you're ever in the area stop in for a cold one. They also have a great double IPA called El Jefe.

There Are Rules is a golden sour beer aged in oak barrels with raspberries, apricots, and peaches. Fermented with a combination of microorganisms, this golden sour beer strikes up aromas of bergamot and fresh picked raspberries and is pinned with flavors of tart raspberries, ripe apricots, and juicy peaches. There are rules in producing sour beer, however, adjustments are made in the approach and alternate tracks are explored in anticipation for a tasty sour.
God damn, this is an exceptional beer. Rare Barrel rules
