What's Everyone Drinking?

This forum is for talking about non-music-related stuff that the DBT fanbase might be interested in. This is not the place for inside jokes and BS. Take that crap to some other board.

I pretty much only drink coke, water, orange juice (for breakfast only) and stuff containing alcohol (beer 99% of the time). And when I'm drinking beer I'm usually not at the computer so all you guys are gonna get are the first three...fun, huh?

Bring back shuffle it all!!! He was much more exciting.

nah, you'll just have to hope that everytime I go out it'll be boring as fuck so that I'll come home early, drunk out of my mind, and then keep drinking with my laptop instead

Was just drinking out of a Long Trail pint glass last night, I bribed a bartender in Providence to look the other way so that I could take it :D Stuffs not available on the west coast, probably too much competition out here to make it worth the cost of distribution

Like it, don't love it. Picked up a twelve pack for $10.99 the other day. Pretty good flavor and bang for the buck (6.5% ALC. BY VOL.).

I actually prefer brunettes

This is pretty much the only IPA available in the state-owned stores who have a monopoly on alcohol sales (except for 3,5 and below). You can order though, but that's too much of a hassle...

You can get some good stuff at a few bars but it pretty much costs twice as much as an ordinary lager or ale, if not even more...

I had an incredible American style IPA from a Euro brewer (I think Danish). It was called Mikkeller I think. They also had one of the best (and priciest) stouts I've ever tasted in their Beer Geek Breakfast.

Choc Beer, specifically their Pietro Piegari Amber Ale. Made here in OOOOOOOOklahoma and pretty damn good. Tastes similar to Fat Tire, which we can't get in this state due to archaic liquior laws.

Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous. Technically it's categorized as an American strong ale, also have seen it called a Black IPA. For those who care, it's close to 9% ABV and has 90 IBUs. As with most Stone beers, definitely not for the faint of palate, and definitely not something to slam, but still drinkable for something so, for the lack of a better word, complex. Almost more whiskey-like than beer-like

sorry to go all beer nerd but Jen's watching Oprah and there is no way in hell I'm joining her
