What's Everyone Drinking?

This forum is for talking about non-music-related stuff that the DBT fanbase might be interested in. This is not the place for inside jokes and BS. Take that crap to some other board.

I had some buddies go skiing out in Utah last winter and they were shocked by how good the local breweries were there.

I've had a couple of very tasty summer brews this year. The Brooklyn's Summer Ale is great and so is the Flying Fish Farmhouse Summer Ale. I have no doubt that the Victory will be just as good.

This is a wonderful, well-balanced IPA. It's a shame it isn't available year-round.

Did you know today is IPA Day? Well it is! http://www.philly.com/philly/food/20120 ... ppin_.html

(and yes, the Phila. Daily News has a weekly beer column written by beer reporter Joe Sixpack)

The sixer of Moon Man I picked up on the way home had two Dancing Man hefeweizens in it. That was not a welcome surprise, but I'll probably end up drinking them anyway. Tonight.

Most of the more established Northeast microbrewers have lost their way and can't compare to many of the recent upstart microbrewers that are out there today. i think that Smuttynose and Harpoon get it right for the most part. not a big Magic Hat fan, to be honest. Dogfish has been wildly creative/off-the-mark (depending on your view) from the start.
