I actually noticed that & it's not what i mean. I'm pretty sure there was some back n forth between me & WWCD about Dawes, but maybe it's in another thread, or maybe i imagined it. Or maybe it was deleted. Any help on this is appreciated.

I think it starts out great but never holds me till the end. Good young band. Played a few gigs with the Mother Hips and are playing with them this weekend in Big Sur.
it does make me think of the Mother Hips. gah, I kind of wish I'd never declared my love of this band... I'm gonna go listen to it again though, fuckers!!!!
Honestly, i dont really know. The latest round of chemo is over. He's back in his apt at (near) school. But he's having a bit of a time getting over this one. OTOH, he continues to heal well from the surgery and his scans are good. And we're scheming like crazy to get him to London for 3 wks in June to take a particular course he wants to take.
