Speaking of Cory Feldman....
From his website:
“Corey for the first time in his adult life is currently single. Corey also being an actor musician has the good fortune of traveling all over the world where he has the opportunity to meet gorgeous and beautiful women of all races and types of ethnicity. Now for the first time he is merging all of those worlds together by creating Corey’s Angels.”
Party time!!!

Nice read on this phenomenon from Vulture.com. One of the posts in the comments traces it back to "Save A Horse, Ride A Cowboy" but it probably goes even further back than that.

Re: Thread for celebrating creative douchebaggery, outstandi
That clip is sort of like shooting fish in a barrel. I mentioned to someone recently that Kacey Musgraves receiving mainstream radio airplay is at least a step in right direction and the response was, "well, she's singing about trailers and trailer parks so she's no different than the 'bro-country' artists singing about dirt roads, pick up trucks, etc." It just goes to show that some folks just don't get it and never will.
On a similar note, the Americana Music Association page on FB recently posted a link to Entertainment Weekly's 10 Best Country Albums of 2013 (which includes Southeastern and quite a few other unexpected choices) to which someone replied, "great list but none of those artists are country". My response was, "if Sturgill Simpson isn't country, then what is he?" Their explanation is that EW's list doesn't fit today's definition of country. While that may be true, it doesn't mean that none of the artists that made EW's list aren't country. To quote Ray McKinnon's character from The Accountant, if anything, some of them (like Sturgill) are "too country" for country radio. By the way, the author of the EW list, Grady Smith, is the one that posted the above video to YouTube.

"i got beer" !!!! OK, I admit I have no idea what that stunt was even supposed to be, but clearly it was intended to include fire and they didn't even have any water standing by??? The suggestion that they use beer was, I guess inevitable in that context, but OMG! If anybody knows what they were trying to do, can you please enlighten the rest of us (or at least me)?

So, who comes across as the bigger douchebag in this clip, Buzzo or Grohl? I'm going with Buzzo.

"i'm assuming it's Dave's number"
that was funny, thanks for posting.

Yeah, that's the eighties punk rock attitude I remember...
I saw Dave play with Scream. So fantastic.
He also happens to be one of the most generous and genuine people I've ever met, actually.
His facial expression is terrifying. He's basically the equine Chucky.

that or trying hard not to punch him in the face
what really gets me here is that redface douche honestly seems to be explaining to native dude why what hes doing is ok. meanwhile newsboy cap has him in a death stare, yellow jacket is embarrassed for him, and onlookers do what onlookers do in 2014
and then theres the airbrushed shirt

a friend of mine shot a ton of shows around the DC punk scene, and someone from Grohl's camp got in touch as they wanted to use a few of his photos for some documentary that Grohl is making.
turns that Dave isn't so generous anymore.

I'm pretty sure Kanye West is nuts.
I don't get offended by anything that he does because he's just such a tool that he is constantly topping himself when it comes to making himself look bad.
I had his first record and really liked him back then. He seemed like a great breath of fresh air. Now he just seems nuts. Having a superiority and inferiority complex at the same time running parallel to each other is almost kind of impressive in a sick way.
He reminds me a lot of Axl Rose in a lot of ways.
His threat to leave America because it is so racist made me laugh out loud. He'll never make good on it either.

Douchebaggery, yes. Creativity, not so much.

I think you're right on, here. I was just reading an article that said art comes from the "convergence of absolute narcissism and crippling self doubt"
I really like Kanye's music, but his utter inability to function as an even halfway normal human being is unfortunate
