Dan Blocker with American television coolness and weirdness

This forum is for talking about non-music-related stuff that the DBT fanbase might be interested in. This is not the place for inside jokes and BS. Take that crap to some other board.

Dan Blocker with American television coolness and weirdness

Post by ChicoHarris »

Dan Blocker, Hoss on the 1960s television show Bonanza, died 40 years ago today. I was devastated. Hoss builds a house of cards in this episode and that started me doing the same thing.
Full episode: "Escape To Ponderosa"

Great stuff:
in 1965, Austin broadcast personality Cactus Pryor interviews Dan Blocker:

This is a little surreal: also in 1965, the cast of Bonanza, in character and costume, plug the 1965 Chevrolets:

If that isn't weird enough, they pull away from Virginia City to Robert Vaughan of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. plugging Corvairs.
Then they're back in Virginia City with Bewitched stars Elizabeth Montgomery and her bitch witch mother, Agnes Moorhead, who proceeds to mess with Dan Blocker.
