Hey Trump, you claim to speak for corporate America, well during tonight's Super Bowl, most of corporate America said "FUCK YOU"
The best one, though, was too much for FOX.
So damn good

This character ("Darlene McBride") from MADtv is so spot on she could have been created in 2017 as opposed to 1997. There are more clips at the link.

Is it possible that Mitch McConnell really is as stupid as I think he is? "Nevertheless she persisted" is going to be on his gravestone.
And then he let a male senator read the same letter from the same senate floor.

It would seem that Yemen's decision to not allow US anti-terror operations w/in its borders blows a rather large hole in Bannon/Trump's "this will make us safer. Really" argument.

It’s Time to Give Up on Facts
Facts are not the opposite of lies. Indeed, to defeat lies, we may have to—temporarily, in a targeted way—give up on facts.
The sooner we put those assholes in the grave&piss on the dirt above it, the better off we'll be

Kellyanne Conway Promotes Ivanka Trump Brand, Raising Ethics Concerns
Federal ethics rules state that an employee of the government’s executive branch “shall not use his public office for his own private gain, for the endorsement of any product, service or enterprise, or for the private gain of friends, relatives, or persons with whom the employee is affiliated in a nongovernmental capacity.” Legal experts said Ms. Conway appeared to have violated those rules.
“You couldn’t think of a clearer example of violating the ban of using your government position as kind of a walking billboard for products or services offered by a private individual,” said Laurence Tribe, a professor of constitutional law at Harvard.
“This seems to us to be about as clear-cut a violation as you can find,” said Noah Bookbinder, executive director of Citizens for Responsibility.

The website of the federal government’s ethics watchdog has been inaccessible for hours, and agency officials say it’s because of surging traffic.
“We received a high volume of traffic and we are looking at ways to redirect traffic and add capacity,” a spokesman for the Office of Government Ethics said.

Do I even dare ask what the point of this was? Was it really to "prove" that Bannon isn't as bad as his critics claim? Please say it ain't so.whatwouldcooleydo? wrote:from Fox News (this is real, believe it or not)

Re: The Neverending Thread for Political Shit
as I understand it, Fox had a reporter from USA Today who had written something about Bannon on the air and they felt the need to respond to something said reporter had written. There is certainly much more to it than that but that's as far as I readbeantownbubba wrote:Do I even dare ask what the point of this was? "The graphic was roundly mocked on social media, where many skewered Fox News' absurd effort to present Bannon as an innocent in comparison to a despot and generally missing the point of the editorial." Can't add much to that. Except a big sigh.
