Nice work, Zip! Were they inspired by the meteor that almost took out our beloved band?

Nice, zip! I have a fondness for "series" (if that's the right word) so you had me at hello anyway

I took leaded glass when I was in high school:
a castle and a peppermint:
a Day of the Dead skull:
I made this 3D hummingbird out of glass too but I was always too scared to hang it up so it's been sitting in a box since I graduated. I should take some pictures of it next time I'm home, though. It's pretty neat.

Not visual art, but writing and creating web-based exhibits--do you consider that art?
If so, from my previous life as a writer/archivist at the Marr Sound Archives (http://library.umkc.edu/marr) at University of Missouri Kansas City, I worked on these sites using radio transcriptions and other materials from our archives. You may find them interesting (although, being funded by a university, they had to be more scholarly than internet-snappy.):
Kansas City: Paris of the Plains, about the Pendergast era: http://library.umkc.edu/spec-col/parisoftheplains/webexhibit/index.html
Voices of World War II: Experiences From the Front and at Home: http://library.umkc.edu/spec-col/ww2/main.htm
The Brush Creek Follies, maybe of particular interest to the 3DD set, documenting KC's own hillbilly radio show: http://library.umkc.edu/spec-col/follies/main.htm

This is the last thing I painted. It's been a while and I'm itching to do something else, just haven't been inspired yet I guess.
Re: Post Your Art
Mock up of the set I'm currently working on. I'll post a photo of the real thing once I paint it
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever

Thanks! One of the very first photographs I took when actually trying to take something worthwhile. I thought the entire shot made total sense when I took it. The cemetary, eerie enough, provided the perfect setting. That's at Oakland Cemetary in Atlanta, Georgia...which is both a beautiful, and very spooky cemetary.

I took this awhile ago. It's done using a technique called HDR.

3 images with different exposures blended into 1. HDR = High Dynamic Range

Oh, okay. I've done that with some landscape. Learned it from a photographer on a workshop but never heard it called that. It makes some great images! Yours looks awesome!
