Really no good way to spin house painting so I'll just need to bite the bullet and get it done one of these days.

Hope y'all are avoiding the swampass these days.

If you frequent the drinking thread, you already know that I am a lover of all things Sierra Nevada. Now I have yet another reason to love the maker of the sacred nectar. My darlings, my sweets, I have missed you. I can't say I'll be able to "cuppponc". But I can say it's so damn hot "Holy fuckballs!" I have to freeze me and me girls' clothes in the morning before we get dressed. I miss each and every one of you, did I mention that? I think of y'all very often. I wish I could check in more and help more because I know that's truly what we do around here. I'm doing my best to be a better, healthier, happier LM. That means looking for a job...eek! I know I'll be seein y'all at a Rock Show and givin' you a big ole hug, each and every one of ya's.

So...I turned in a 13-hour run at the Ohio State Fair today, running around in an indoor arena, with huge, ginormous fans whirring, and it was still so fucking hot and muggy that I felt like I was about to keel over. One girl did, puking her insides out into every trashcan in sight. Sure hope she feels better. I would say the better part of those 13 hours were spent on my feet, which is why I feel them burning like I haven't felt since my band camp days.

And after all that sweat, work, and discomfort, I got a warm, fulfilling feeling and three long, beautiful rosettes to show for it.

Now if only I knew where to put them...

demolition is awesome. its the rebuilding that sucks. Out my new office window I can see them taking down a five story, 20 or so year old commercial building. They're doing really well because they havent dropped anything on top of the listed art deco building on one side, or the 1800's wooden one on the other (both fine). when I exited our building after the EQ, I looked across the road and saw massive X cracks all up the facade and thought "Oooooh, that looks a bit fucked"
