Looks like a hell of a set, Erd. Jealous. Also happy that Mrs. Swamp got such a nice birthday present!

Happy Sunday folks! I've been up for nearly three hours for no apparent reason. It's Sunday for pete's sake!

This was a benefit at MAX (on their patio) which is on the end of town near the 40 Watt and across from Farm 255. The link shows you the schedule. I worked in the sun all day and got there at 6:45.

The Swamps were in town for Mrs. Swamps birthday. Each time I see them I'm reminded that they're the coolest, kindest and most fun folks around. Just great people and a treasure to be around.

There were maybe 75 to as much as 125 people. Pretty intimate and laid back.

Redneck Greece was at 7pm and was fantastic. Shonna, Neff, and Scott Baxendale played with RG. Just a fun set with some dialogue back and forth to Patterson and the crowd.

David Barbe and the QHs were at 8pm. Neff played again and mesmerizes me more each time I see him play. Just a compliment to anyone he plays with and a beast on his own. I think I called him "a fuckin assassin" when I get a pic with him.

Patterson was at 9pm with Barbe, Neff and EZB. His daughter was dancing through the whole set and walking back and forth to Patterson. Just adorable and created a great environment.

Athens....such support in all the communities within such a great city. Just mesmerizing.

Special thanks to Mrs Swamp for being gracious to help get me some long anticipated pics with Phood, Neff, Bax and Shonna. They're some gracious folks to take time to chat and take a pic. Awesome night.

ok here is a good one.
i woke up at 4 oclock this morning all munchified
i reheat some pheasant enchilada i'd made early in the week
made a plate of nachos
somehow in the process i managed to switch the digital readout on the microwave to spanish.
now i can't figure out how to switch it back.
how the fukk does this happen?
