Re: 3DD NC
Hi all!
I am feeling relaxed, positive, and even cheerful. For the first time in a long time.
Gonna try and listen to some music even. Havent felt like it.
You'll be pleased to know that the week before the earthquake I managed to remember to backup my digital music (well, most of it) out of my work computer into a backup hard drive. which is at home. I'm so pleased because that machine has all my emusic downloads, and the stuff I've got from southern shelter and stuff like that: including a bunch of DBT live shows.
Real happy about that, lemmetellya. Plus I was not looking forward to having to re-rip all my fucking CD's again.
They're reopeing the cordon round the CBD in parts today, allowing people to get into buildings and stuff. Unfortunately not our building. But we have some premises we can use in the meantime (when we can get to them), we can operate in a limited way already from home and stuff is coming back to normal, it feels like.
Until you try and drive anywhere, or think "I'll go see a movie": ALL of the movie theatres in this city (400000 odd people) have been trashed or are behind the cordon (and have likely been trashed), except one three screen multiplex on the other side of town. And the art house video store is behind the cordon, too.
By the way, it really meant a lot to get the shout outs from you guys. Thanks again
OK, this isnt a blog, or facebook. I'll stop.

I've never taken a pissbreak during a DBT show but if I had it would have been during Dancing Ricky.

When I hear New Zealand I think Steve French.
When I hear New Zealand + earth quake I think Holly Fuckballs! I hope Steve French is alright!
Also when I hear New Zealand I think Steve French, which then makes me think of Steve French's name sake which is a large cat of some sort, which then makes me think about cougars. Which makes me think, ya know? I really do prefer a real woman to some cutsie barbie doll type. Which doesn't really hit the mark, cause I don't mean Cougar, I mean Milf.
Then I think, this is probably TMI and I should shut up before Beebs has had enough and lets me know.
Then I think Good Morning and Happy Sunday NC!
Which makes me think, I wonder what time is it in New Zealand?

Re: 3DD NC
Beebs, now that's a post to start a Sunday morning! Well done. I completely equate New Zealand and the earthquake with Mr. French as well. 3DD & the NC in particular is a special place and global to boot.
Good morning folks! Kind of chilly this morning but above freezing so I know spring is coming. You'll know I really feel it when I change my location. Now enjoy some skinny monkeys:

Good morning, NC!
Wheweeee! Had one helluva time this past weekend. Got to meet all kinds of devoted DBT fans, it was great to put faces with names and even persuade a few more to join our family. The shows were great and the crowd, for the most part was too!! Everybody Needs Love is quickly becoming a rising star for the rock show, I hope they make it a regular part of their future rotation.
So how the hell are you all doing?

Happy Sunday All.
It's been a great weekend. Hung out with some friends and did some playin and singing. Drove home last night and watched the Disneyland fireworks show from the freeway. Very cool and loud.
Tomorrow night we finally get a So Cal Rock Show. I am so excited for it. The recent set lists have been so good.

Morning folks. I may not be in Tennessee but it is Pulaski day here in the land of Lincoln. It was a good semi-lazy weekend but still got some housecleaning done, some picturing framing/hanging done and can't complain. You know PH ain't lyin' when he says it's great to be alive.
