3DD NC

This forum is for talking about non-music-related stuff that the DBT fanbase might be interested in. This is not the place for inside jokes and BS. Take that crap to some other board.

Our butcher rules. I rolled in there yesterday and said I fancy a roast of pork tonight. He said "Dude I dont have any, but give me five minutes......" whips out the back, brings back a rib section of pig, says "how much you want" and he boned it, rolled it and tied it right there. AND he comped me the bones. Not quite spare ribs but still with meat on. I laid the bones in a tray with some rosemary, sage and red wine and just did the meat with salt. It was fantastic. lovely crackling and succulent. Did it with roast winter vege medley thing (potato, kumara (think youd call it sweet potato except ours are purple), parsnip, pumpkin etc. and some greens. Good eatin.

and the offcut is pork belly. I bought some of that too. Ive got a recipe I want to try that involves double cooking it.

and now (its Sunday morning) I am eating roast pork bone meat snacks. the bottom is caramelised and the top is done. good times!!! MEAT SNACKS!!!!
I've never taken a pissbreak during a DBT show but if I had it would have been during Dancing Ricky.

Evening folks, great day around here. Been needing to switch bedrooms around, what with baby on the way, finally got that done. Then spent the rest of the afternoon watching my 5 yr old do cannonballs off the dock. Looks like we should get a good rain tonight, cool things off a little.

I'm Happy.

Food was good, now listening to some Two Cow Garage and kicking back. There is something to be said for a quiet weekend occasionally.

Actually went to a different place on the lake today and had some shrimp. Nice day here.

I need to take this kick ass sweet corn and make my black bean and sweet corn salsa soon.

Gonna be a boy! Due around mid Oct. Right about the time my work load usually slows down, so should be perfect for some bonding time, and alot easier for me to help out Mrs W. with the 3am feeding thing.

In my experience, unless one of your nipples starts spouting milk, there ain't much you can do to help at 3AM.
