3DD NC

This forum is for talking about non-music-related stuff that the DBT fanbase might be interested in. This is not the place for inside jokes and BS. Take that crap to some other board.

Morning folks. Back from a nice long weekend in Oxford, MS, got our DBT and live music fix and now ready to grab Monday by the balls. Well maybe not that last part so much, but I'll give it my best shot. That "one year ago in the NC" link was depressing. Let's gets weird this week, OK?

Good morning folks. Welcome to Tuesday, the useless day. In honor of that here are some useless facts to start your day off right:

A pig’s orgasm lasts for 30 minutes.

Elephants can’t jump. Every other mammal can.

The phrase “rule of thumb” is derived from an old English law which stated that you couldn’t beat your wife with anything wider than your thumb.

The house fly hums in the middle octave key of F.

There's over an inch of snow on the ground. It's May 2nd. It was 80 degrees on Tuesday.

Jesus.

One of my biggest customers is in Rochester, MN and I saw pictures from there this morning. Egads.

Morning folks. Thursday is upon us in full. Thursday is named for this guy:

I shouldn't whine too much. I think GW is getting hit with over 6 inches of snow. Rochester is worse off than us too, but we're only about 60 miles from there.

I have coworkers who live about 20 miles out of town, and they're saying this morning was the worst commute they've ever had.

I'd like to reiterate that it was 80 and sunny two days ago. I bet you're missing Midwest weather right now, eh?

Ha! Yeah I'm liking the south just fine. I'm going to do my damndest not to bitch in August. I'll be up northwest of Chicago for a week starting a week from tomorrow though so I'm hoping for spring, not winter.

It looks like we'll be back to normal by Sunday or so. You should be in the clear.
