I've never taken a pissbreak during a DBT show but if I had it would have been during Dancing Ricky.

I don't know what to say here. Thank you seems inadequate
Just awesome.

Monday. Harumph.
On the bright side it should be a really good week, so there is that.

Re: 3DD NC
This is priceless...
Watching people give themselves over to dance is always a beautiful thing (in certain ways). They'll start with a couple of nods, a few subtle motions in the shoulders or hips, and then, before you know it, you're watching someone's hopes and dreams and fears expressed through the art of dance. It's inspiring. Like this woman, whose bus stop dance routine is a slow boil, like a Hitchcock film, or like slowly boiling a big pot of water. We love this unnamed woman. By the time her routine peaks at around the two-minute mark, we want her to teach us how to live so unabashedly

Re: 3DD NC
So a lot of people think of April 15 as tax day. After today a lot of people will think of it as the day of the tragedy in Boston. It means something different to me. 16 years ago I lost my brother to suicide, he didn't make it to his 27th birthday. I'll miss him always. It means something else to me now though as 3 years ago I was in bad shape with a heart condition and on April 15 I had surgery. A lot of good folks from here got me through it (littlemama, jonicont, Clams & the Swamps among them) and today I'm healthy and thriving. It's brought this day halfway back for me but today will always be for my kid brother. Raise a glass for Sean for me will ya?

Sorry I missed this yesterday, TC (I just don't check the ol' NC like I used to). Raising a glass to you and your bro right now.

Good thoughts your way TC. I lost my brother far too early as well so I can relate.

So much to love here.
A scholar's thoughts on concepts like the existence of a higher power ... do not adapt well to Facebook postings. At this point, he [Richard Dawkins] is the go-to guy for when the least articulate atheists want to sound smart. He's been reduced to Prof. Spaghetti Monster, Ph.D.
The right screws the left. The left rolls its eyes and shakes its head at the screwing it's getting while castigating the right mightily. And The Man, who is not Democrat or Republican, straight or gay, male or female, atheist or believer, is content at the bickering that keeps everyone busy and blind.

Thanks everyone. Meant a lot.
So now we're at Wednesday of a crazy busy week. Company car arrives today within the hour supposedly, but it's been lost before so who knows? Grass needs cutting, things need doing but for the most part all is well. The weekend is approaching.

I retroactively dedicate the Surly Abrasive that washed down my dinner to your brother TC.
Been a very calm week up here. Next week looks relaxed as well. Looking forward to visiting my old stomping grounds for Veishea (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veishea) on Friday and limbering up the tailgate muscles for the Iowa State Spring Game on Saturday. Going for a bike ride on our areas's new bike trail today. Might get a little wet, but that's a-ok.

Ditto. Must say, for several days after the procedure, I really really wanted to lose the pain, but keep the swelling.
Now it's dark.
