quote of the week
Came across the quote below and it struck me how it could apply to a fair few DBT tunes; anyone agree?
"In the dark times. Will there also be singing? Yes, there will also be singing. About the dark times".
"In the dark times. Will there also be singing? Yes, there will also be singing. About the dark times".
Re: quote of the week
Quite the conundrum, johnny. I think it does apply to DBT's music, but it applies to about 83% of all rock music & 96% of all country music as well. We are more creative & artistic when shit ain't goin' our way.

True enough, just really liked the quote and wanted to share it.

Who wants to listen to happy music when the world is in the crapper anyway. Great quote.

When the world's in the crapper, there's only one place to be: at The Rock Show... Roll on the UK dates.
Re: quote of the week
I've tried talking the wife into going to the UK for a long time, I would love to see an Arsenal match in person and just see London and go see the old homeland in Ireland. But she has a problem with air travel and sea travel so until they build a bridge across the atlantic, or I get a divorce I will never see it.
Re: quote of the week
"If God dwells inside us like some people say, I sure hope He likes enchiladas, because that's what He's getting”
“My young son asked me what happens after we die. I told him we get buried under a bunch of dirt and worms eat our bodies. I guess I should have told him the truth - that most of us go to Hell and burn eternally - but I didn't want to upset him.”
“Somebody told me it was frightening how much topsoil we are losing each year, but I told that story around the campfire and nobody got scared”
"What is it about a beautiful sunny afternoon, with the birds singing and the wind rustling through the leaves, that makes you want to get drunk?”
“I believe in making the world safe for our children, but not our children's children, because I don't think children should be having sex.”
I JUST LOVE ME SOME JACK HANDY

With you not liking tunnels [presumably including railway tunnels & road tunnels] and your ole lady not liking sea or air travel, how do you guys travel..?
Re: quote of the week
I will use a tunnel when required but I think if their was ever to be a tunnel between the US and UK I would not be using it. The Holland and Lincoln tunnels are okay. Unfortunately we drive...everywhere we go, sucks.
