Robert Bolden has been named the starter at quarterback in Penn State's season opener Saturday against Youngstown State, the first true freshman to start the season in that position for Joe Paterno.

Wow. That means either Bolden's really good or McGloin and Newsome were totally unimpressive. From Joepa's comments this week, it sounds like all three will probably play Saturday. Whomever gets the start in week #2 in Tuscaloosa will have his hands full to say the least.
