Flora, Fauna, Foraging, Forest-y stuff

This forum is for talking about non-music-related stuff that the DBT fanbase might be interested in. This is not the place for inside jokes and BS. Take that crap to some other board.

Does anyone have any really really good botanical sites.

I am looking specifically for Sweat Pea and Daisy, with great detail and color. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Just got our Seeds of Change catalog yesterday, too. Trying to take advantage of our wintertime longing for spring I suppose.

Been getting a pair of pileated woodpeckers gobbling suet and bark butter a few times a day.

"...and chances are something of that nature, won't be dropping by, this neighborhood again..."

They always gotta close with a tongue-in-cheek catch phrase. I can't believe that eagle was able to carry the fawn around. Crazy. I'm underestimating the might eagle.

Anyone know what kind of trip these take you on? Lol. Seriously, any foragers out there know if this is edible? Found growing on/near dead oak tree by my driveway. See hat for scale...its big. Could probably feed a whole family....or a commune of hippies.

Nice Sulphur Shelfs there GTUS. They can be quite good, especially when they're just starting - more tender.

Mrs. Scratch is an obsessed mushroom hunter and all around foraging enthusiast. We had some rain the last few days and she came home with this little batch of treasure today.
