This forum is for talking about non-music-related stuff that the DBT fanbase might be interested in. This is not the place for inside jokes and BS. Take that crap to some other board.

Dogs are wonderful. They make our lives so much better.

My wife has seen me with tears in my eyes once. Ever.

After our daughter was born and was sleeping in a crib next to our bed, my wife was worried about letting our bulldog Lucy continue to sleep in the bed with us. She was worried that she might try and jump in the crib to investigate and accidently hurt our daughter.

That first night when it was time to go to bed I fixed Lucy a place in the den. When she knew we were leaving her up there alone she started whining.

Liked to have killed me.

I'm a big, rough, Southern man but I couldn't help it. The water works tried to get cranked up.

And all that was was leaving her in the den. I feel like a big old puss telling that story but man, dogs are real special to those of us that love them.

We're boarding Lena today for the first time in her life so I think she's going to have an unhappy day or so. Makes me sad. On the bright side she's being boarded by her dog trainer who will keep her with her dogs in the house so it's not exactly a kennel. Hopefully it will go well.

She won't even know after a couple hours. She'll be like "wow, what are the odds of this happening? A bunch of dogs to play with and my trainer, too! Wait until I tell Daddy."

Love the picture of the Maine coon kitten, thanks for posting, Bovine!

A few months ago we rescued 2 kittens, Sage and Ollie, who will turn 1 in early July.

Sage is clearly a music fan:

And they both love lying in the window on sunny days:

They are sisters and it is an absolute joy to have them around. It is so much fun watching them chase each other around the house and wrestle. There is never any agression, it is pure fun between them.

No doggie style for Patterson

Post by Swamp »

Patterson's blood line goes back to 1985 when we got Teddy, Patterson's great great grandfather.
After 2 years of begging I finally let him loose with Amber Jean when the time was right.
She took off running with Patterson on her tail. He swatted her down like a lion swatting
a gazelle. As she rolled onto her back, he mounted her missionary style.
Unfortunately her due date will probably be around Athens in August. :(
I know the Mrs ain't gonna leave her like that.
