Good Vibrations

This forum is for talking about non-music-related stuff that the DBT fanbase might be interested in. This is not the place for inside jokes and BS. Take that crap to some other board.

I'm on top of the world
And I can't get any higher
I'm on top of the world
I'm on top of the world
tonight

If you think about it, no matter where you are, you're on top of the world (and it's 5 o'clock somewhere)

wrekkr I'm surprised that thing is happiness for you. But hey whatever...

As for me, it's a good day. The sun is shining and I feel better than I have in days. Going out tonight locally with nothing in mind but a good time with good friends. Until then some house cleaning, dog bathing and general chores. Carpe Diem.

Took Little Bonnie out of the garage and drove along Ocean Boulavard, past The Stone Pony. After all the rain we've had the past couple of weeks it is great to take the bike out. Motorcycles are the best cure for the blues.

My daughter has been playing field hockey for 3 years now. She finally scored her 1st goal!! It tied it up w/about 10 seconds left in regulation. The girl who scores gets to bring the ball back to midfield. She was walking on air all the way there. An overtime loss couldn't even dampen her spirit. It was one of those makes it all worth it moments.

All kinds of great baseball going on these days.

In Caid's game last Sunday, he hit for the cycle PLUS two more home runs. I see A LOT of baseball in my future and I love it. I think I'm more excited about his game tomorrow morning than he is and that's near impossible.

Josh is in Louisiana for a golf tournament this weekend and after Caid's practice tonight I plan to take them to get burritos and then I'm parking it on the couch with a cold sixer of Pamplemousse LaCroix to watch the Rangers annihilate the Yankees.
Can you hear that singing? Sounds like gold...

Was in Madison, WI today and saw something nice. A group of eight or ten kids, probably between the ages of six and ten, were walking down the street singing at the top of their lungs in harmony. The adults with them were just walking along and letting them. Not sure what the song was, something like a camp sing along, but it was nice. Caused everyone around to watch, stop and smile. Made my day.

Found $10 in my shopping cart at Babies R' Us today. It was next to a sticky note printed for an exchange student program that said "Study in Valencia!" On it was written From Danielle. Thanks Danielle!

Took Ben to the dog park for a run with his canine friends today. We had alot of rain yesterday and as expected it was a bit messy ~ ugh. At one point Ben was heading straight for a big soupy mud puddle. Was gonna yell at him but then thought ah, lighen up and let him be a dog. Within seconds he jumped in and was then followed by three of his doggie friends. Tails were wagging and they we're having fun splashing around. Watching them made me smile.

Off the clean the backseat.
