This forum is for talking about non-music-related stuff that the DBT fanbase might be interested in. This is not the place for inside jokes and BS. Take that crap to some other board.

Carey Mulligan is apparently going to play Lisbeth Salander in the English language version of "The Girl w/ the Dragon Tattoo." I doubt they'll do better than the Swedish version, but she seems like a decent choice for the role.

yes, An Education. I thought she was damn good in it

Bukowski doesn't seem like near as big of an ass as I thought he'd be.

really?
i have not seen this film
but i have crazy respect for bukowski.
i have spent many many many hours reading, rereading, examining and analyzing his works and his words.
extremely talented and quite likely, truly mad.
so, i am going to venture a guess, he really was as big of an ass in real life.

i am intrigued and will check this film out.
god, i would love to be proved wrong.

did it reach the same artistic and educational levels as Busty Milfs 1 through 11? Enquiring minds....

The directors cut is waaaay better than the cinematic release. Disturbing film but very good.
I've never taken a pissbreak during a DBT show but if I had it would have been during Dancing Ricky.

well, the tried-and-true plot is getting a bit played out, but the performances were stellar and made for worthwhile watching. Two, er, "thumbs" up

And NO I do not want to hear any John Wayne bashing!!!! EVER!!!! You may not have agreed with his politics, but he was man enough to keep his ground on what he believed in.

The movie is "Good Shepard of the HIlls"

I finally watched Avatar (3d version) last night...at the movies. I can't believe that it's still selling out (and it's even been released on dvd now). Anyway, it was very impressively made and although the plot and some of the acting may not be top notch I really enjoyed it.
