Der Himmel über Berlin:(the sky above berlin)
wings of desire (1987)

this is the last movie i watched
and i could be happy
if it was the last movie i ever watched.
as a film, a work of art, it is perfection.
stirring, stunning, breathtaking, sensational in the truest sense of the word.

this is a gift from wim wenders .he is a genius. truly.

favorite line from a movie ( maybe one of the best lines from anything/anywhere)
"time heals all. but what if time itself is the disease?"

honest to god, this movie is perfect to me.

"Road to Redemption"

I really liked the end quote, when asked what kind of man Sullivan was, I told them "Sullivan was my father"

just need time to get it all straight .

Q? do you think he will come back in 3 years...hmmmmm

Well put. A stunning film and a treat to watch.
Having Peter Falk as "the movie star" was brilliant.
FYI, the sort-of sequel, Faraway, So Close, was a letdown.

Great movie Scotto! I have seen it several times; the crazy Grandpa is great. I think I remember reading that most of it is true based on John Boorman's childhood.

Louis Malle doesn't get enough recognition. And neither does Aurore Clément.
