my 2022

Post by tinnitus photography »

Though I have a Blog section of my website, I ever hardly use it. But I got around to collecting every review I wrote from last year, with a lead photo accompanying it... so if you want to browse through the 55 shows and festivals I wrote about, dig in!

(i am still collecting my favorite images from 2022, as there were plenty of shows I shot that I didn't also review)

Kick ass man! What a cool and varied list. Some great shots in there as well.
Love each other, Motherfuckers!

Great pics! Particularly the Rammstein shot. I very much enjoyed reading your review of their show as it took me back to a good memory.

Years ago, my stepson was huge into Rammstein when he was in early high school. German was his foreign language class and he liked metal, so he loved Rammstein there for a few years. We took him to Atlanta on a school night to see them because that was the closest city to Birmingham on the tour.

I didn't know the music very well going in, but knew enough to figure I'd be OK with it since I grew up on 80s metal. It was weird not understanding a word of the lyrics, but the show was phenomenal. All the pyrotechnics were amazing, and it's the only time I've ever seen someone on stage playing while walking a treadmill.

thanks all! yeah Rammstein's production was insane. my oldest son got into them a few years ago and we went to the show together and both loved it.

the only slight bummer for me was that we only got to shoot the encore and had to meet at production to get our passes and get escorted back in and i missed "Du Hast," the only song I knew.
