Ticketmaster Again, Still, Always
This week's John Oliver episode on HBO takes on Ticketmaster. Not much new for those of us more or less immersed in the music and concert worlds, but still he makes his points and gets his jabs in in his inimitable style. Also, he may be the only person in the world still apoplectic that Live Nation and Ticketmaster were allowed to merge in violation of pretty much every antitrust law every written and every principle of common sense and economics. I still can't believe it and neither can he.

Face value is $30 for the truckers show at the Stone Pony next month and the ticketmaster fees are $15 per ticket. Fuckers.
