These tapes just surfaced recently. This was my favorite local band of that time, the one that should've made it at least a little bit. The first song is rough and then they click. Chana was all of sixteen. She's dead now:
And this was my favorite regional band. I know some of you are Steve Pryor fans. He was a step beyond everyone else. He's dead now, too:
I'm still looking for tapes of the early Steve Pryor and the Mighty Kingsnakes as a four-piece with a sax. Steve was a big Coltrane fan.
