this is pretty great.

i never got to see him. got introduced to him (like i imagine most of my peers who weren't deep into the blues game) via the record he did w/ Jon Spencer.

My wife is a musician and she is headed into a studio in north Mississippi today to play some fiddle on a Gary Burnside tune. Garry is RL's son.

Same. I love the live album he made on the back of that success and recommend it if you havent heard it. Burnside on Burnside. I wish I'd seen him play. I probably like the blues most when its a bit nasty and he was bit nasty. Love the closer on this set.
