At risk of sounding like a pig
Christine McVie was, is, and always will be hotter than Stevie Nicks.
Now it's dark.

Re: At risk of sounding like a pig
I always thought Kelly McGillis was hotter in Witness than she was in Top Gun.

I was going to stay out of this, but since you've misquoted the Razorback Death Cry, I feel a duty coming on:chuckrh wrote:soooooeeeeey.......oink oink!

Not to be musically pedantic (well, OK, I guess it is) but that is not The Rainmakers as noted in the video. It's actually Steve, Bob & Rich, awesome '80s bar band from KC that morphed into The Rainmakers.John A Arkansawyer wrote:I was going to stay out of this, but since you've misquoted the Razorback Death Cry, I feel a duty coming on:chuckrh wrote:soooooeeeeey.......oink oink!

Good eye! That is exactly why I picked it. They played Fayetteville a lot and were a big favorite of mine. I liked their sound a lot better as a three-piece, and the three-up-front look of the band.scotto wrote:Not to be musically pedantic (well, OK, I guess it is) but that is not The Rainmakers as noted in the video. Yes they were a ball live: stripped-down, punchy, and a great sense of humor. If you ever run across their album "Balls," snap it up ("Big Fat Blonde" is on it). There was a CD a few years ago and the original's a fairly high-dollar collectible, but I'm sure it'll get the reissue treatment at some point.John A Arkansawyer wrote:Good eye! Re: At risk of sounding like a pig
They had those for sale when I saw them at least part of the time. All those reviews of their live shows, and they never handed me one to write about. Just as well--they sure didn't need my help! I was a fool not to buy one at the time.scotto wrote:Yes they were a ball live: stripped-down, punchy, and a great sense of humor. I don't know how I missed this thread 'til now.
Christine, Witness and Mary Ann for me. I assume Jennifer was Loni Anderson but I never watched the show so don't know who Bailey is/was. Sounds like another Ginger v. Mary Ann thing so I assume my vote would be for Bailey.
