Special guests on the album include Wayne Kramer (MC5), Joe Ely, and Peter Perrett and John Perry of The Only Ones. The sound ranges from straight ahead rockers like, "Sonica USA," to ballads like the classic Joe Ely penned, "Silver City," and everywhere in between. To describe this album as, "epic," might be an understatement.

No word on release date, but the Yawpers are going into the studio in a couple weeks to record their next album with Steve Albini.

I'm psyched.

Yeah not to mention I'm completely out of touch with the Guitartown list serve. Did you know he was involved with that?

Fuck, he's the Joyce Carol Oates of rock. Should we just go ahead and start a New Ty Segall Record thread?

There's no way he sells enough records to pay for the studio time

He has his own studio.
Looking forward to the covers record.

Excited for the Bottle Rockets record but man that artwork is... not great.
