I don't know anything about Earthless, but that Richmond show is on my radar because Kikagaku Moyo is amazing and I'd like to see them.

For those not yet indoctrinated, Earthless (and anything Isaiah Mitchell is involved in) is some of the best rock and roll around right now.

Well worth a listen for anyone who hangs around here.

i kinda prefer Golden Void a bit more, because there are more songs/less jams, but generally speaking he delivers in all modes.

I agree. Earthless is the face melter, but honestly I wish there was little more focus on GV. Berkana is a really well done record. I just wish it was twice as long.

i just discovered a common link between Golden Void and Heron Oblivion... Camilla Saulfey-Mitchell. She played in Assemble Head in Sunburst Sound w/ Charlie Saufley (sister or ex-wife?) and is now in Golden Void (currently married to Isaiah as per his facebook page).

New track out this week - Gifted by the Wind
Sounds more riffy, less jammy/spacey. There's vocals too.
