southern-fried

guitar slinger

gut bucket

blue collar

if a music critic/journalist/blogger can't write a piece without using these cliches, he/she needs to quit writing

Gut Bucket? I must not read enough. Then again I get most of my music news here or from friends so I don't see a lot of music journalism

"Hooks"? The hook is essential part of a pop song. Not sure how you talk pop, power pop, etc. without talking about "hooks".
We call him Scooby Do, but Scooby doesn’t do. Scooby, is not involved

(1) the only thing that justifies the time I lost reading that is this line: What kind of fuck nutted douche babble is this?

(2) should one have a death wish, do a shot at every time Sam Hunt is mentioned

(3) I am grateful that I don't know those who commented on the article ;)
