Listening to By the Time I Get to Phoenix now, truly in the pantheon of great voices.
Turn it up to 10 and rip off the knob

My world is a bit more cloudy today.
"If I'm not smiling, I'm just thinking...."

RIP Glen. Still luv Wichita Lineman & Galveston from when I was a kid. He's at peace now. My dad went through something similar when he passed. Not a good way to go.

Very sweet Alice Cooper interview from earlier in the week where he discussed his good buddy, Glen.
And it makes me very happy knowing that Glen and Jimmy Webb were the best of friends right until the end. Money, fame, substances, etc mess up a lot of relationships like theirs, but those guys were tight the whole time.

Jim James did a cover of "Gentle On My Mind" at the show last night, and said it influenced him to write "Golden"
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever

Don't hurt people, and don't take their stuff.

If you have not seen the documentary "I'll Be Me", it is worth seeing. I'm not gonna lie...it is a tough watch, but clearly chronicles the genius of Glen Campbell.
