Worst song ever written

Know of a great band you think we'd like to hear about? Got some music news? Or just want to talk about music in general? Post it here.

I can think of quite a few Train (the band) songs that give me the same feeling.

Train could possibly be the worst band in history, they're like air supply only worse.

Worthy contenders, but Supertramp was even worse.

There first album is pretty solid. Has a good "alt-country" sound. After that, it went all downhill, and fast.

My six year old loves that Stuck Like Glue song. Loves it.

I can't stand Robert Palmer's Addicted to Love. Nails. On. A. Chalkboard.
Can you hear that singing? Sounds like gold...

Nope. Still sucks.

Maybe if Kim G dressed up like one of those Robert Palmer girls. But probably not.

I concur. Still terrible. I was a Robert Palmer girl for Halloween one year though.

Every year here in Raleigh we have an event where local bands cover other bands. This year it goes back to King's after being hosted by Tir Na nOg during the years when King's was closed. At the last Raleigh Undercover, a band named River City Ransom performed as Meatloaf. When Meatloaf was new I could kind of understand the appeal but even that seemed to wear very thin extremely quickly. Well, let me just say that despite my disdain for Meatloaf that River City Ransom absolutely nailed him. There were lots of highlights that weekend: Bright Young Things as Bowie, Free Electric State as The Pixies, Lonnie Walker as Talking Heads, etc. but River City Ransom as Meatloaf blew everyone away. I didn't suddenly become a Meatloaf fan after that but I did learn to appreciate them/him in a way I never did before.

Meat Loaf is like DBT compared to this drivel:

Someone on another board (I hate to say which one) said DBT reminded them of Train. I believe this is around the same time one review compared Patterson's voice to Don Henley's. I'm thinking this was the Southern Rock Opera era before Jason joined the band.

The funny thing about pop country is that everytime the worst song ever comes on, a song that's even worse comes on 10 minutes later.

Put an * by AD. Afternoon Delight as performed by Ron Burgundy in Anchorman should be an exception.

I made it to 2:02. The unfortunate thing for those kids is: GOD is going to slam the gates of heaven on them when they enter for that nonsense.

Tom Arico is inmotherfuckingcredible.

My vote goes to You Had A Bad Day, beating out You're Beautiful in a photo finish.
