Other Bands On TV

Know of a great band you think we'd like to hear about? Got some music news? Or just want to talk about music in general? Post it here.

Other Bands On TV

Post by Given to Fly »

We need a thread to give a heads up when a band is going to be on the tube. Morning show, late show, rerun, etc.

DVRs, VCRs, Betas, Youtubes...get ready. Here we come....

Tonight - July 26

Leno- Lyle Lovett

Great idea! Threads start for stuff like that occasionally, but this is better.
We call him Scooby Do, but Scooby doesn’t do. Scooby, is not involved

I know that PBS/Austin City Limits showings can have different episodes in areas on the same day. But tonight for me, Steve Earle/Kristofferson (repeat)

Check your local listings...

WLIW-Ch 21 in N.Y. is showing Skynyrd/Frampton from Oakland '77 tonight at 8. It's a PBS channel so check them local listings.

NEW YORK, N.Y. --
NBC says The Boss is paying Jimmy Fallon a visit.

The network announced Wednesday that Bruce Springsteen will appear on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on November 16, both to chat with the host and to perform.

Springsteen’s appearance is timed to the twin releases of his “The Promise” two-CD set and “The Promise: The Darkness on the Edge of Town Story,” a six-disc set, which are both due out that same day.

NBC says his guest appearance on “Late Night” will mark his only scheduled TV performance this year in support of the releases.

“Late Night” airs weeknights at 12:35 AM Eastern time.

This reminds me of the "You might be a music junkie if" thread, because the last thing I do before I go to bed at night is see who the musical guests are on Leno, Letterman, Kimmel, etc and set the Tivo. So much easier than trying to set the VCR tapes back in the day.
