wait...
are you telling me (with a straight face, apparently, but it's hard to look into the interwebs) that one of the world's biggest megalomaniacs doesn't care what people think of his music?

I mean that he's no longer trying to write hooky songs that will get radio play.
And no, I don't think he cares. I think his ego is so large that he KNOWS his songs are great and doesn't need anyone to approve.
When he tweeted about the new album, he said something like "Happy to have finished the greatest record ever made"
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever

He actually changed his mind the other day when he realised that what he said was a bit over the top, and out of respect to his heroes

Got to say Black Skinhead is great, even if it rips off The Glitter Band.

Still no date, but seems like it was done this past month.
First show in May:

Maybe a summer release, or before.

The new Richmond Fontaine record is the shit. I usually hate it when bands renege on promises to call it quits (it cheapens them, IMO) but I really hope this ain't their last one.
