Hip Hop - Yes or No?

Know of a great band you think we'd like to hear about? Got some music news? Or just want to talk about music in general? Post it here.

Speaking of Wu Tang, what every happened to the "rap group"? Nearly all of today's popular hip-hop acts are solo artists (Kanye, Kendrick, Lil' Wayne, Drake, Eminem, Dr. Dre, etc.) Run the Jewels is the only group I can think of off the top of my head, and that's just a duo. Gone are the days of Outkast, Wu Tang, NWA, Public Enemy, Beastie Boys, Naughty By Nature, Odd Future, Black Sheep, Digable Planets, etc. etc.
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever

The Beastie Boys (the music is usually great, but all that constant high pitched shouting/screaming/wailing spoils it).
Says the fan of The Fall and Mark E. Smith.
