This version of Sunday Morning with Steve Earle gives me chills every time I hear it. I think Kris is singing and Steve on guitar. Amazing.

I actually prefer the original version of "Sunday Morning", but it would be hard to argue against Cash's version being the definitive one. I'd wager that the majority of folks who know that song believe that Cash wrote it.

I don't know if that's the test for what makes a version definitive, but it's a good start.
