Would have been sweet to see some Upper Midwest (west of Mississippi) shows, or Madison.

Alas. I'm sure with their intense touring regimen I'll be able to catch Natty Chile in the near future.

Glad to see that they're coming back to DC but I really wish they'd play someplace other than the Black Cat. I have to wear 4" heels to even have a chance of seeing anything at that venue.
I keep it all together for the sake of the kids.

If anyone overseas is going to any of these shows, I will pay cash money to pick me up one of these shirts.

Want. Badly.

Would be extremely cool if they expanded to Sweden/Norway as well. Copenhagen is the closest but its approx 7 hours drive, so for just one show it's a bit too far. Have some business in London these days, so maybe if I am lucky I can make it fit in with a meeting or something. I'll let you know.

^^^^ Okay. Just checked the dates on the website. Unless they expand the tour further north to include Oslo, its probably not going to happen. Wife is out of town a couple of weeks around those days, so I am staying put looking after the kids, not going anywhere. Sorry for creating false expectations.

There's a tune from one of the EPs (I think - I don't recognize the song immediately, but it's undeniably Natty Chile) in the second episode, while playing beach volleyball. "8 AM Blues" (no words) is clearly audible while they are in a bar a few episodes later.

I've been following Natty Chile on facebook. They're currently touring over in europe and this pic was posted yesterday. It reminds me of the fancy restaurant scene in the Blues Brothers. Can you imagine the other customers sipping their wine and whispering Who let these guys in here?

When did that happen? I guess they haven't put anything out for a couple years. Glad I got to catch them live once.

A year or two ago.
It was a relatively silent breakup. I never saw any type of official statement, but have heard it from various sources since.
I believe they were one of the early bands that were caught up in the Me Too movement. Something serious with the bassist. I don't have a lot of details, but from the trickle-down info I've gotten, that seems to be the consensus. Pretty sure the guitarist moved to LA to totally separate himself.

They were fun, saw them a couple times.

I'm actually selling my copies of their (and lots of others) LPs if anyone is interested.

Now that you say this, I remember there being something on social media. I followed them on Facebook or Twitter and remember allusions to this. Sucks. I'll still listen. I guess I can't say that I'm super shocked that a band with the line "auto tune my cock" may have crossed the line in real life.
