From personal experience, I would classify Bucky Baxter as a dick and the legendary "Cowboy" Jack Clement (rest his soul) as an old asshole. Also heard the Greenday guys & entourage are somewhere between a douche and a pussy (whatever that space would be called).

Having read some personal accounts from folks that were actually at that Ryan Adams show at the Ryman, I'd say how he handled it was perfectly reasonable. That's not to say the guy's not capable of being an asshole but I don't think that was the case that evening. Are Patterson or Isbell being assholes when they call out members of the audience when their behavior is out of line?

Has anyone here besides myself seen the Gourds documentary All the Labor? Interesting comment in there from Max Johnston (who was a member of both UT and Wilco for a time) regarding his Uncle Tupelo days. For whatever it's worth, he gets the least amount of screen time interview-wise in the documentary but definitely makes the best of it.
