I almost put Creedence but just couldn't make em fit--and Neil, Skynyrd, Bottle Rockets, etc.
Looks like a bunch of little whiny fucksticks to me

In the last two years i really got very strong into Jayhawks/Louris/Olson..."Ready For The Flood" by Gary & Mark is one of the best and most beautiful albums from the last decade. It is so good...It's cool they're re-releasing the very first Jayhawks album first time on cd next month.

I'm psyched about a possible album by Gary & Chris Robinson next year...Should be awesome.

I've already preordered the Bunkhouse album. Rumors persist that the Jayhawks could be touring again soon, with the reissue of the rest of the catalog. I didn't see them back when they were an active band, so I'd love to catch them now.

Gary Louris is playing nearby next month--I plan to check that out. Love his Jayhawks and Golden Smog stuff.

Would be cool if they'll tour and come to europe. Or just Gary...Maybe I could catch him. I've got "Down By The Old Mainstream" by Golden Smog. Pretty good. I also loved his "Vagabonds". I dig Mark's albums as well, big time.
