I know! That made may day. So many times I have thought about investing in each on EBAY for more than $200. The patience paid off! Now have to wait until August to receive it.

I am still in need of Binaural. You got Lost Dogs and Avocado on vinyl? You lucky bastard.
Nope, I've never seen Avocado or Lost Dogs anywhere. My local shop has Vs and LB, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Is Binaural hard to find? Crazy thing is, I didn't even buy it. I won it in a drawing at a shop in Janesville, WI back when it came out, about 10 years before I even had a record player.
Oh shit. I just assumed that you misprinted. Binaural is very hard to find. A cold $350 could get you to acquire a copy.

Also, is the record store still in Janesville? If so this FIB will need to stop on my next time I'm passing through town for a weekend up North.
I thought for sure the Janesville store had closed a few years ago, but Google says it's still there: Exclusive Company on Milton Avenue. Spent a lot of paychecks there back in the day.

I can't wait to hear it either.
Why do you think it's a weird setlist? It looks pretty great to me. I read online that Of The Earth (with Jack White) runs to 10+minutes. I love that song and have only gotten it once in person.

I'd call it a weird set list too. Not a bad one, just a unique mix. Pretty low on hits, and the whole career span is taken into account with some b-sides thrown in too.

Just a weird flow, I guess. Can't wait to hear Hard to Imagine and Let Me Sleep, though.

I read that it's a bonus track on the Japanese editions of Lost Dogs. I'm not sure if it was recorded during the Riot Act sessions or at another time.

I've been revisiting the Gorge box recently and am curious to know if the song they break into towards the end here is an original number or a cover? Thanks in advance.

It's an original, tagged as an "improv." Not sure if it was ever played again.

Neil Young will induct PJ into the RnR HoF. Nice. Maybe they'll bust out a Mirrorball tune?

My friend has only seen PJ once (I'm spoiled, saw them a lot in small places back in the day) so I surprised her & got some nice tix for 8/12 in Seattle. Did the Ticketbastard verified fan presale & it actually worked. I got ADA seats on the club level, which will be perfect for a 3 hour PJ show. It's been a long time since I've seen them, so looking forward to it.

I pre-ordered it. I'm a lifelong PJ fan, so it was obvious--but I'm really hoping it's a banger.

Likewise. I got both the Vinyl Bundle and the CD. Their shipping charges are high but I paid them in order to get the limited 7" and the hardback CD which I am guessing may be only sold through their site as with the hardback CD of Avocado.

This is the first single from the upcoming album. I like this song. I hear influence from David Bowie and Talking Heads. I'm excited to hear the rest of the album in the spring.

Thanks Bill in CT, yes I hear those influences as well in this track, but what is missing is a blistering Mike McCready solo !

Not sure what I was expecting, but not only does this sound like nothing Pearl Jam has ever recorded, but it is quite funky and upbeat (until you read the lyrics. VERY excited for the new LP and tour.

I like Bowie, Talking Heads, and love Pearl Jam and I thought that song was terrible. Hopefully it grows on me, but my initial impression wasn't great.

Well that new song is out of left field. Big time Talking Heads vibe.
