Happy belated birthday to Bruce. He turned 65 on Tuesday.

A somewhat different and new to me take on Springsteen (and who knew there could be such a thing at this late date?) You may not be surprised to know that it resonates w/ me like the last chord of "Day in the Life". Yes a reference to Springsteen's catalog would be more appropriate there but I got nothing at this moment. OTOH you could thank me for not going the harmonica as shofar route.

Full show from Houston in 1978 (Darkness tour) recently released on Youtube. Stellar.
I had my ticket, but 2020 got canceled

Rumor has it that E St is in studio with the Boss. I hope it does not result in another Working On A Dream.
Now it's dark.

Need some help from the musos here. I heard a studio version of Bruce doing the Dylan song I Want You on the radio this morning.

I know there are several bootlegs of Springsteen doing this song live but does anyone know where the studio version comes from?

Thanks.
By the time you drop them I'll be gone
And you'll be right where they fall the rest of your life

Same. I've never heard a studio version before. Have heard a few live versions - mainly from 1974-75 shows.

Muchos Gracias Paul.

It must have been a super clean live version.
