Classic Clips
I don't know if there is such a thread but if there is it's buried...so I thought I'd make a thread for blasts from the pasts to breath again. Not genre specific.
Here's a good one from the Johnny Cash show.... the second song where Johnny accompanies Waylon is pretty funny.

Never going back to Buttholeville. (Good luck with that!)

So many of the great stars of yesteryear in this one:

If Johnny Cash is involved, you’ve got a classic.
And check out Wanda Jackson. She is something else.

Unfortunately, there's not a lot of Foghat of the vintage variety out there on the YouTubes but there is this from 1974.

Starfish turned 25 yesterday. It wasn't the first CD I ever purchased but it had to be within the first 10 or so. This is a performance of "Under the Milky Way" filmed for Italian television back in 1988.
Re: Classic Clips

Here's one of your boy (when he was a boy)
There's even wires attached to them guitars (which is rare for these TV spots).

Absolutely, although I have a love/hate relationship with threads like these for bringing my browser to a halt.
It took me 15 minutes to even load this reply.
might not be so bad if me & slip didn't bombard it, though

Re: Classic Clips
Smitty, I think the problem is we (you/me) put too many videos in one post. If we limit it to one or two per post, I think it will load faster.

The Allman Brothers Band have been through various permutations over the years. This is from the period that yielded Enlightened Rogues (1979), Reach for the Sky (1980) and Brothers of the Road (1981) that included "Dangerous" Dan Toler, who passed away today at the age of 65. Dan was also a member of the Gregg Allman Band in the early 80's as well as Dickey Betts' Great Southern in the late 70's. This is an interview with Gregg, Dickey and Butch Trucks that Tom Snyder did for the Tomorrow show back in 1981. It also includes a couple performances, one acoustic and one with the full band.

AC/DC filmed on the same tour I saw them on back in 1978. When they played in Fayetteville, North Carolina on this tour the opening band was Cheap Trick, Nantucket filled the center spot on the bill. I'm guessing this is newly unearthed footage as it was just uploaded to AC/DC's Vevo channel on YouTube a few days ago.
