Great year for sure. Only way to do this is just to pick 6 not yet mentioned. Did i mention that this was a great year?

Nick Lowe - Pure Pop for Now People
Elvis Costello - This Year's Model
Wire - Pink Flag
Television - Adventure
Steve Reich - Music for 18 Musicians
David Johansen - s/t

Hmmmm, now that I'm looking closely, '78 rivals the all time great years.

As long as you saved me Honky Tonk Masquerade - criminally underrated.
I gotta replace Bruised Orange with Gary Stewart's Little Junior, an unforgivable oversight.
Great year for music, period, but a particularly great year for honky tonk.

Whoops, i forgot that tintin already established that Pink Flag was released in '77.

Let's substitute The Shoes' Black Vinyl Shoes instead.
