Don't trust me but in this case I do think 2000 is correct for a variety of reasons. For one, according to the liner notes, one of the cuts was recorded as late as early December '99. Another would be the back cover photo which was shot during Honkytonkarama at the Local 506 in Chapel Hill in 2000. The album was recorded during 1999 which may be where AllMusic is getting that date from.
