Know of a great band you think we'd like to hear about? Got some music news? Or just want to talk about music in general? Post it here.

(my personal intro to Shakey)

Albums I was listening to at the time that don't make the cut today (although I still enjoy them):

2004 was a big year in my musical development. I started drifting away from my punk/pop-punk phase and fell in love with classic rock, particularly the Stones and the Who. It was also the first time I listened to an alt-country song (Excuse Me While I Break My Own Heart) on purpose. I fell in love with that song, but didn't really go "all-in" on Adams's music for a couple years.

Did not see this on any of the lists of 2004 records.

This might be favorite album from that year. At least after TDS.
