My favorite song of 1980 is Pulling Mussels From The Shell - Squeeze

A far better year than I remembered it being, requiring many tough omissions.

Bruce Springsteen - The River
Prince - Dirty Mind
The Brains - s/t
The Psychedelic Furs - s/t
Gang of Four - Entertainment
The Feelies - Crazy Rhythms (because nobody else has mentioned it; I enjoyed several other albums more)

Special mention:

The Clash - Black Market Clash
What used to be is gone and what ought to be ought not to be so hard

1980 was pretty much the year I discoverd rock and roll. Need to go with a 12 pack here. (Could've gone with a case).

is 80s rock becoming hip again? i'm out of the loop on what's cool and all, but it seems 80s era rock sounds and shit are back in style. fashion too, i think, maybe.

or is that already obvious?

or am i just nostalgic?

I'm gonna redo my six-packs, starting with the decade that'll have the most significant changes.

You can edit it back. It's a full sweep. I take back my math statement.
