fans of post-punk should dig this... one of the better 2015 discoveries for me. I think i've seen some people listing Beastmilk on here... this is similar.

From Jeff Finlin's latest record, My Moby Dick. I don't really know him outside of the fact he played drums on Matthew Ryan's May Day album.

I've seen a couple of interesting young bands on Carson Daly (insomnia). Quilts, kind of hippy psychedelic, & GRiZ, which is dance music but with a nice marriage of computers & real instruments. Big horn section. Look like they would be big fun live.

I saw Quilt live in summer of 2014. I really like their music, even if they're a little boring live (the music is very chill)
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever

First time through this new album, I like it, but dont' love it. Attica was SO DAMN GOOD, and this one feels, well, unfinished. I'm sure it'll click with me after more listens, though

Funny I just finished my first listen of the new Wussy as well and thought it was really strong, and potentially on the same level as ATTICA!.
They are a good band.
Surprised they aren't bigger than they are.

The record is very good, I just think it's a level below Attica.

These guys have only recently come onto my radar. Their album, You're Dreaming dropped back in January.

I'm honestly surprised that Sarah Shook hasn't caught on with the 3DD crowd. I doubt it stays that way for too much longer. This is a brand new song that isn't on any album. It was filmed prior to S.P.I.T.T.L.E.FEST in Raleigh last year.

Never would have seen these guys last night if not for the recommendations from some friends. Straight up rock n' roll from Italy.

Minor Victories. Sort of post punk/shoegaze supergroup. Stuart Braithwaite from Mogwai & singer from Slowdive involved. A wonderful record that gets better with each listen.

I love Quilt. Their new record is out. I saw them open for Luna this past October. They are playing at The Sinclair, in Boston in June during the time I will be in beantown.

I agree about the Kozelek song but I'll take 10 out 11 on songs. Have been playing this (Minor Victories) pretty much every day. I hope they tour, too.

The new Garbage cd is very good. Less produced (more raw) than some of their efforts. Shirley Manson's voice makes me feel ahhhhh funny! :D

Love these guys. They're a Twin Cities band originally and I think they had a residency at a club in St Paul that I used to go to. They opened up for JD McPhearson the last time I saw him.

I don't own any of her albums yet but so far, I haven't heard a song by Sarah Jarosz that I don't like.
