Think I just got shut out of tickets for Psycho 2017.

With all the rave press last year got I was afraid maybe I had just experienced the last time it would be accessible and affordable.

As I expected the early birds went in about 1.5 seconds. I just figured I'd take a swing a them and I'd have been surprised if I snagged one.

But then they opened Tier 1 which sold out in another few minutes. Based on the info they had provided tier 1 wasn't supposed to go on sale until December. Now tier 2 is open at close to $300 with no pre party access. I'm not into paying more for less.

If they plan on releasing more tier 1 they're gonna have some explaining to do to the folks currently buying up tier 2.

Whiskey Meyers last Friday night at the 40 Watt. We made a trip to see the dawgs beat Auburn and go to this show. They are a red dirt band from Texas. They stand apart from those other bands to me though in the same way Turnpike Troubadours do. Plus they recorded one of my buddy's songs.

I've got nothing on my musical calendar until Kris Kristofferson in late January. Really look forward to that one.

Good time. Darrell was solo and did songs on guitar, piano and bouzouki. He played new songs, old songs, his better known songs, and covered Hank Williams, Guy Clark, and Kristofferson
The City Winery really is a listening room. The place was packed, but totally silent.

Jealous. I missed him last time he was in Athens. He's great live. Got to meet him after a show. He's just like you think he would be. I'm ready for a new record.
