Who's Everyone Seeing Live?

Know of a great band you think we'd like to hear about? Got some music news? Or just want to talk about music in general? Post it here.

So???
The show was solid! First set was the entire Sound & Fury album, then followed up with some reworked versions of his older material. There were some issues with the equipment he is using to alter his voice on some of the tracks. If i had my way, I'd tell him to drop the effects as they do nothing for the song IMO. The band is tight as hell considering the time off and I think once the full tour hits, the new songs will begin to morph into some extended jams. Bring your dancing shoes cause Stu is having himself a dance party. 8-)

Looks like their setlists are pretty heavy on the new album. I'm curious to see if the live versions do any more for me than the studio versions.

Wilco was, of course, great. The crowd was super lame (they had to be shamed into standing up by Tweedy, as they were content to sit down during a rock show). That said, it was a very old crowd, with a lot of people I would peg to be in their early 60's or older, and those folks don't come out for the GA standing only shows.

The Ode to Joy tracks were mostly NOT helped by the live setting. They sucked the energy out of the room, and even the band looked bored playing them. The exceptions were "We Were Lucky", "Love is Everywhere (Beware)" and "Everyone Hides"

The back catalog stuff was all fantastic, highlighted by an incredible version of "Reservations", which I hadn't seen performed before.

Setlist:

1. Bright Leaves
2. Before Us
3. Company in my Back
4. War on War
5. Handshake Drugs
6. Side With Seeds
7. One and a Half Stars
8. The Joke Explained
9. Hummingbird
10. White Wooden Cross
11. Via Chicago
12. How to Fight Loneliness
13. Laminated Cat (Loose Fur cover)
14. Random Name Generator
15. Reservations
16. Impossible Germany (This is where people finally stood up)
17. Jesus, Etc.
18. We Were Lucky
19. Love is Everywhere (Beware)
20. Box Full of Letters
21. I'm Always in Love
22. Everyone Hides
23. Heavy Metal Drummer
24. Hold Me Anyway
25. The Late Greats
---
26. Misunderstood
27. California Stars
